Description:

The Nordic Heritage center boasts over 30 kilometers (18.64 mi) of dedicated cross-country ski trails. This facility includes a world-class XC ski and Biathlon venue with a stadium and lodge, a team wax building, a paved roller loop, and lighted trails for night skiing. Our trail system has been FIS Certified in distances ranging from sprints to 50 kilometers (31 mi) and has been professionally surveyed and mapped. With Northern Maine’s early snow, we are the perfect training grounds for XC Ski teams across New England. The lodge is open to the public from 6 am to 8 pm each day and includes kitchen facilities, restrooms, and a great room with a fireplace.

Our grooming schedule can be found on our Facebook page. Trail lights automatically turn on at dusk and shut off at 8 pm. The outer loop shuts off at 8 and the inner loop shuts off at 8:15 to allow for skiers to make their way into the lodge and parking areas. The lodge, ramp, and parking lights stay on from dusk to dawn.
